USA
All orders shipped to the USA are either DDP (Delivery Duty Prepaid) or exempt under Section 321 of the US Customs Acts, and therefore the customer will never incur any duties handling fees or state taxes.
Important message for our American Curlers:
This is in regards to Huge Curling Savings (HCS), suspending shipments to the USA.
Due to constant changing tariffs, we are no longer shipping to the USA. The Supreme Court could rule as early as November 5th, or drag this out to the middle of 2026. You are free to browse our site; however, no orders will be processed at this time. Any orders with destination to the USA, will be handed over to our Accounting Department and a refund processed within 3 - 4 business days.
We were hopeful we would not have to suspend shipments at all or at least not all together and in an attempt to continue our shipments to our American Curling Friends, we had been on a trial bases shipping orders from mid-August until the start of October, only with approval from our customers that they would pay the tariffs and extra courier charges. However, we decided to stop shipments all together as different customs offices and couriers have been changing the tariffs from 35% up to 50% or more, making it impossible for us to calculate what our customers would need to pay extra. Due to this many parcels were, of course and reasonably, refused. The logistics behind shipments to the USA are both time consuming and too costly for both our company as well as our customers.
As we have been operating under the free trade agreement since 2006, (19 years) with shipments to the USA with no hidden or extra charges, it is totally disheartening to us and our customers that we cannot continue to do business with our American neighbors and friends in the same equal manner as with our Canadian Curling Customers. We are hopeful that things might return to a more reasonable state and hopefully soon.
As mentioned above, the latest news on the Tariffs is The Supreme Court could rule as early as November 5th, or drag this out to the middle of 2026.
HCS will continue to monitor this situation and will email all our American Customers when business returns to a more reasonable state and there is some sort of consistency in what is charged or taxed.
Our sincere, apologies for the disruption in our Curling Service to the US.
